Brief history:
The Shandon replaced the Regent Theatre in the main street as the place to see films in Colac. Since the drive-in closed in 1984, there has been no regular films screened. Colac would be the largest town in the state not to be serviced by a cinema or drive-in. Re-open the drive-in? Too late, a lumber yard has slowley but surely demolished the site over the last 15 years.

The screen skeleton is obvious to drive-in archaeologists.
