I believed this drive-in to be long since demolished, without a trace remaining, until I stumbled across it. When people say it is "completly gone" their definition is often different to us drive-in archaeologists.
It may not seem like much but gives us an idea of what at least some of this drive-in looked like. It is now in use as a Sunday market with several other buildings built upon the ramps. The ticket box and snack bar both are clearly visible. The fibro cement sheet structure was most common for drive-in buildings in the 1950's. Get 'em up fast and cheap, lets make some dough before this drive-in craze ends!
I believe this drive-in closed and was "moved" up to the NSW south coast town of Pambula - near Merrimbula.
